Sheathing her normal blade, one eminently unsuited for combat inside a dark forest unless she wanted to maybe cut a tree down, was difficult whilst working up to a run but she managed it somehow. One step away from going into the forest proper, she turned and looked hard at Akane.

And then she was off. Following someone who had, for some unknown reason, decided to go through the treeline rather than somewhere you could actually see where you were going was... difficult, but the princess' hair was kind of hard to miss. Thus, she arrived, shorter sword drawn, at the same time as Kouko stabbed the ground.
