Personality Information
Prior to his mother's demise, Chris was pretty bitter. He grew up healthy, happy, and with a great education. He was treated as the crown prince even if he could not be in respect to the King's decision.
He is pretty cold on the exterior but can be a loyal friend.
Loves the outdoors. Before he became a Knight, he would lead hunts.
Is afraid of being left alone. He grew up with the constant fear that he would be disowned.
Currently, his goal is to avenge the death of his mother, The Queen. At any cost.

Brief Backstory
Born within Conra Castle, Christopher was raised as a Prince from the beginning, even though the servants knew very well that he was not the King's son and that the Queen had an affair. He was taught and trained like any respectable member of Royalty. He was trained in the ways of fencing and learned to shoot a bow and was even checked for magical talent. At a young age, he exhibited excellent prowess with archery and with Kinetic magic. At age 14 he went on his first hunt with the captain of the guard who often treated him like a son. Christopher didn't know his real father but he wondered if the captain was him.

When he turned 18, he was offered to join the Guardsmen. After 4 years, Chris was a captain in his own right. He would refuse the leading position however. He was growing apart from life in the palace. He spent more time with wall guards and with the rise in refugees in the last couple years he helped build housing for them. He hadn't seen any monsters close to the city, but bandits and highwaymen have been increasing in numbers. He has been working together with guardsmen and mercenaries to ensure safety of the refugees. All until one day, his little brother, the Crown Prince himself, came to find him.

With the news that his mother, the Queen, was found dead by no other than his little brother, Chris started investigating all he could. Interviewing guard after guard, trying to figure out how it happened. Who could have done it. A week after the assassination, a fortune teller got a hold of him and told him of a Dark Wizard that was the source of the Queen's undoing. He packed a travel kit and told his brother to take care. Christopher swore he would avenge his mother at any cost.

Current Events
Is currently spending time at the southern road, trying to find a caravan that will take him to the border of Ballion. He isn't having much luck until he overhears something about a young mercenary who has business with a wizard. It wasn't much to go on, but a lead is a lead.

Skills
-He fights with a sword and shield in close combat.
-His bow is his primary weapon and he is a great tracker.
-Uses enchantment magic on his arrows to get three different effects: Slow, Knockback, and Gravity. If his target is hit with a slow arrow, their actions become sluggish and they slow down. The knock back arrows can launch foes that would otherwise be too dangerous to fight up close or who charge him too quickly. The Gravity arrows suspend targets on impact, but only briefly, it sort of trips them up, often causing them to fall or temporarily lose balance and momentum.

Gear
Steel-wrought Long-sword with preferences for one-handed combat.
Steel-wrought Kettle Shield
Yewwood Bow with silver finish.
Three quivers of 20 wooden arrows tipped in runes meant to focus his enchantments a lot better. He doesn't wear all 3 quivers at once. He has two for back-up.
Traveling clothes for cold and hot weather.
Has gear for survival in the wild, tent, sleeping bag, tender box, hunting knife, length of rope, wood ax.

Personality Information
He is the perfect type of person. Kind, caring, and loving to all his people. Crown Prince Conra IV is a very intelligent [s]boy[/s] MAN. He was walking and talking at the tender age of two and took to his studies like a fish to water. While he isn't very strong, possibly inheriting his father's illness to some degree, Ian can still fence with some skill.

He is afraid of his people being hurt. He is truly one of the most caring members of Royalty. Many believe he is naive, however he knows he could outsmart any foe. It is known the he will give anyone who can best him in three games of chess 5% of the treasury.
He hates being under-estimated or being called a 'kid'. He also hates bigots in all forms. His love for other races is immense and his Royal Advisors will include Goblinoid races, something that has never happened before. He has plans to remove or diminish some of the more controversial groups from Conra.
His goal in life is to make the Palace a more welcoming place for his people and build Conra up to be one of the greatest empires in the world.

Brief Backstory

[i]The young Prince was born to the sounds of birds singing and angels chorus. He was a well mannered child and loved his servants as much as he loved his family. With his father's passing at the tender age of 6, Ian stepped up to being a man and tripled his studies. He is an adept mage with Lightning and Holy magics at his disposal. He often uses his Holy magic to help those who are sick or injured around town.

His early years were inside the castle, but as soon as he was old enough, he went into town to meet his future people. He is loved by many in his city and palace. Many have attacked Ian, but he passes the attacks off a misunderstanding and forgives his aggressors. The first time it happened, they expected the offender to disappear but it never happen. This made many think the Prince would make a very merciful leader. Some believed it would make him weak, but even at the age of 11, he helped his mother in negotiations and trade treaties. A talent for politics and a keen observation has made the Elves announce their respect for the little Prince and the Dwarves recognize him as a brother. In the last couple of years, he has striven hard to make good relations with the Goblins that lived in the mines to the west and to the Orcs to the north.

Is trying to arrange a funeral for his mother. It is planned to be held with vigil on the first day of Winter along with the celebration that the Queen had brought into existence. He tried to ask his brother to assist him in the throne's responsibility, but respects his brother's wish to avoid the drama and respect the King's wishes to not have him in power. [/center][/hider]
