Luna
The whole situation seemed weird, and mysterious. Was it a joke? Luna didn't think so, but she found it weird that they would be chosen. It appeared that none of them had much skill in what they could do. So why not people with more experience? She shifted, frowning slightly. She listened as the some of the others spoke. When one asked why them, Luna looked over, and spoke for the first time since saying the pharse that got her here. "I doubt this darkness is exclusive. It will come, and it will tear this place apart. It will go for those that might have a chance at stopping it first, albiet it even a small chance, and thats us" She said, managing to keep her tone even, and not rude. Now that she had spoken, she supposed she would have to introduce herself and what she could do. Yet once they knew she could feel their emotions, they would probably all be reserved towards her. The collection of emotions were strong, but she could see that there was similarity between them. Curiousity and wariness. She raised her hand, and began to twirl a finger around her hair, nervous herself. It was always hard meeting knew people, and to be thrown into the deep end like this, it was a tad overwhelming. Now she had to contemplate actually telling people what she could do. She hadn't even told her father she was capable of empathy and illusions, so to tell a bunch of strangers was quite huge. she gave a heavy sign, and cleared her throat, "I'm Luna. My abilities are still pretty basic. I can create illusions, and I have empathy-meaning I can feel and manipulate others emotions. Neither are particularly strong right now. so I rely on my boxing skills as well, in sticky situations" She said, hoping to not cause a panic if she said her empathy wasn't strong. Or at least not to cause worry. She turned to Jacklyn and said "Like I said earlier, you have some ability to be a nuisence to this darkness. So yes, it would probably go after you. It will go after all of us, because we have shown that we will try to combat the bad things in the world. I assume that's also how this strange woman found us as well." her tone had an almost professor like tone to it, which she didn't seem aware of. She was more curious as to why they would need a leader. She didn't particularly want to follow anyone else, but this was her city and thus she would do what was best for it. She was just one person. She couldn't fight something like this darkness by herself. She turned to the guy that had spoken up, asking why them first. "you're a curious one. Its like there's several sets of emotions in you...I've only ever experienced that in split personality disorders. I don't think that is the case here. You were eager and then cautious. A change that seemed to happen too quickly" She supposed she was throwing out her own cautious decision not to reveal how strong her empathy was, but she decided it would be best to understand her "team mates" Sooner rather than later. "Not to worry, I suppose" Turning to the first girl to speak, Luna tilted her head realising she had copied the woman, twirling her hair. A nervous habit, of course, but still she was a little taken aback. "Flying is pretty cool. I just made an illusion of fire. It wasn't very good. Maybe you could help me with that one?"She asked, almost hopeful. Any chance to improve her abilties was important to Luna. Finally, turning to the only other person to speak yet, Jacklyn or "The shadow ninja" she gave the girl a reassuring smile, "You weren't rambling. Maybe we could spar sometime? It would be nice to learn some new fighting abilities" She hoped she had smoothly interacted with all of those to speak so far, and hadn't made a fool of herself.
