Sophia Danvers

Windshire Beach
Sophia winced at the way Kero said the word "interesting". Of course, he was still completely clean and dry, which just highlighted what an utter mess she looked. "What? I just got my third Pokemon and that's all you have to say?" she yelled as she stomped after him, seaweed slopping from her ruffles onto the sand. It was bad enough that he'd gone and put away the bottle cap, claiming it for himself. "And that thing's valuable? You're kidding, right...? Hey, I found it first!" She huffed. He really did seem insistent on wasting time at this campsite. "Fine then. I'm sure I can get plenty of cash from the gym battle anyway. You just watch." She gave a hollow laugh as Kero set up a clothes line and started setting up a fire. "Seriously? You think I've got nothing better to do?" This part of the beach was busier, and she wasn't going to hang around looking like a drowned Rattata... nor was she going to change her clothes in front of Kero. "And in case you've already forgotten, I have more than one Pokemon who needs healing." She looked at the Pokeball that contained her newest Pokemon. She didn't have any berries or potions, and even if this guy did, would he have enough for both Gothita and Staryu? The Pokecentre was a better way of healing them anyway, and not far from the beach. "Suit yourself," she sneered as she turned away, glancing over her shoulder. She'd thought he respected her, but now he just seemed like another Oscar, acting as if he knew best. "It's a shame you won't see me get my gym badge, but I'll tell you all about it later. Then let's see if you can do the same." With that, she strode from the beach, hurrying towards the Pokecentre, leaving a trail of green drips. She was especially glad there were few people around. Hopefully, the centre would also be reasonably empty.
Inside the Pokecentre
Once inside, Sophia stopped in her tracks. How could Rheese still be there? Hadn't he planned on preparing for the upcoming gym battle? Even worse, there stood the wannabe star who'd laughed at her the day before. And she'd thought what had happened in front of Kero had been humiliating enough. She wanted to hide away in a hole, out of their sight. Masking her embarrassment with a facade of pride, she held out the Pokeball as she squelched her way towards the desk. "Either of you got your third Pokemon yet?" she boasted, nonetheless bracing herself for their comments. [@Iatos] [@Heckno12] [@OtomostheCrazy]
