The Necromancer is someone who would raise the dead, at early levels perhaps they would be mindless but later he might be able to truly bring back the dead and stuff.

The Wizard would be be learning D&D style spells and use them to revolutionize society, magically enchanting farming equipment so that farmers can move onto intellectual pursuits...and perhaps become wizards With more wizards in the world the world might change dramatically/

The Monk would be focused on achieving oneness with the universe, dissolving the ego and achieving greater perception, open the third eye and all that stuff. not like D&D monks, more like buddhist monk with psychic powers and stuff.
