Toguro and Genkai were wildly different in ideals, so training together didn't separate them at all, only Toguro's lust for strength he didn't earn, as well as what I assume to be an incredibly long lifespan or whatever. Kurama would just point that out, though he does know what Genkai is trying to tell him. Botan is a sweet girl. His only concern right now is giving her everything he can so she can survive on her own. Any feelings beyond that are somewhat unknown to him at the time. Seeing as he did not notice how natural it felt to be so close beside Botan, I think Kurama's going to start looking at Botan much differently. Thanks, Yusuke~
