Kat balanced Gracie on her hip and went down the hall. Matt had told her about Nikki. She figured the girl would want to talk, seeing that Kat had been through it : first time pregnancy with the father not in the picture. Matt hadn't been around during the pregnancy because Kat had kept it from him. Once Gracie had been born she had told him, feeling that Gracie needed to at least know her father. Matt had surprised her by actually wanting to be a part of Gracie's life. At first it had just been a monetary/babysitting deal, but things had grown to where they were now.

That wasn't going to happen with Vincent. Kat would make sure of it. That man was not going to get near Nikki or her baby. If he did, she had no problem killing him and having Matt dispose of the body. People in the medical field could do that easily, especially in this world.

Kat knocked. Since Matt had also told her about Nikki and Kyle she wasn't about to walk in on anything that Gracie did not need to see.
[color=6ecff6]"I would like to talk to Nikki if she's not too busy jumping her husband's bones,"[/color] Kat said.

Gracie squirmed. [color=f49ac2]"Kiki! Kiki!"[/color] she shouted, reaching forward to smack the door with her little hands. Kat grinned. Cute niece took precedence over hot guy. It was in the rulebook.

Once Nikki made it out Gracie immediately leaned over to be held by her. Kat did something she didn't do a lot. She hugged Nikki.

Matt and Kyle are going to have some bro nights hiding from the psycho pregnant ladies,"[/color] she said with a laugh. It was easier to let go and be more laid back around Nikki. Kat saw her as the sister she had never had. [color=6ecff6]"Listen, if you wanna talk or if you ever have any questions about what's happening, you know I have been through this before. I'm here if you need anything."[/color]
