Nikki nodded while Gracie wiggled her way into her arms and began pulling her hair into her little mouth. [color=f49ac2]"Oh sweet baby it's too early to pull Auntie Nikki's hair. Kat, my biggest fear is that HE will find out."[/color] Nikki pulled her hair back out of Grace's reach and looked down the hall to make sure they were alone. [color=f49ac2]"Come inside, I don't want this overheard."[/color] She set Grace on the floor and she and Kat sat down to talk. Kyle was still sleeping on his stomach and was covered up from the waist down.

Nikki was flustered. [color=f49ac2]"Kat, I don't think I've ever said this to anyone before, but I'm scared. I'm not scared of walkers or of fighting or jumping off of buildings, breaking bones...but I'm scared of Vincent either taking or hurting my baby." [/color]She looked over at Gracie who had found Kyle's blanket and was trying to pull it off of him. Nikki got up and tucked the covers in around him so Grace couldn't expose him easily. [color=f49ac2]"Kyle is so sweet and funny. Do you know how we ended up getting married?" [/color]

Nikki grinned at Kat's expression. [color=f49ac2]"He wanted a commitment from me. I gave him an out when I found out about the baby and he demanded a commitment." [/color]Nikki chuckled. [color=f49ac2]"So I asked him to marry me."[/color] Nikki looked at Grace just in time to see her pull Kyle's blanket completely off, showing a bit more of his backside to Kat than Nikki expected. Nikki grabbed the covers and pulled them up and over him as she giggled.

Gracie clapped at her accomplishment as her mother picked her up.

After Kat and Gracie left Nikki grabbed her clothes and leaned down to Kyle and said. [color=f49ac2]"I'm going to go take a shower and head out to do rounds babe."[/color] She kissed his lips softly and smiled.
