Short posts (especially introductions) like that makes it seem as though you don't care for the RP or even posting in it. This is multiplied greatly for your introductory post, which is kinda like your writing sample and the main post you make since it is your character's "heroic" or "great" introduction into the RP. Spotlight is on you and now is the time to show us what you're like with pure freedom and when you're at your best when it comes to RPing/writing...

 So how 'bout it? Get back in there and show us all how great of an RPer and writer you really are.

Mike, just quoting what I already said to ya man... 

I know it says 1 paragraph minimum though we'd prefer you to try your maximum as much as possible... the minimum is just there for those rare times a member is having trouble posting (writers block and that like)... You joined this RP with great enthusiasm, so show us what ya got xD

We're still at the starting point so spotlight is still on you until you reach the group.
