The character I'm currently writing for is a genderless worm god with no morals or libido, and a knack for science. It would surgically implant a pheromone-responsive abomination into the sorcerer, and when that erupts from their torso chestburster style two days later, it would use the abhuman child as a puppet ruler with which to take control of the swamp armies. 

Which would then become its lab staff.
