Name: James (Jimmy) Martin 

Appearance:  Jimmy stands 5'11, and weighs 225 lbs.  He has a medium build.  His hair is long, curly, black and he usually keeps it in a bun, or pony tail(rabbit tail in his case).  His skin is medium tan and his eyes are light brown.  On the days he works he usually wears khakis and a nice shirt, but on his off days his outfit of choice tends to be basketball shorts and a t-shirt plus a black and grey skull cap with a picture of the grim reaper on it.  

Personality: The fact that Jimmy is really deep down an introvert usually comes to a surprise to most people on account of how open and personable he seems.  Which isn't really because of a love of being with others but due to his need to please and make sure everyone gets a long.  Really, too much time spent around anyone has the effect of wearing him down.  To compound the problem Jimmy has a high level of emotional empathy and can't help but suffer when others are doing so.  So a lot of time is needed in solitude or with his dogs to regain his composure.  One of the things that scares him the most is the spotlight and he'll usually resort to self depreciating to get out of it, or exit stage left.  He also enjoys watching people, when there far enough away from him. He dreams of either some day becoming a writer or winning the lottery so he could spend the rest of his days on a far off place with lots of snow and few neighbors.   

Likes: Animals, Anime philosophy, history, and learning random facts

Dislikes: Crowds, hot days, alcoholic beverages(more for the taste than effect), meat(moral reasons but he really misses the taste)

Hobbies:  Taking his Siberian huskies for long walks along the beach.  Reading(pretty much anything but his favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy)  Listening to music (pretty much anything but for rap, some pop, and current country(a woman looking sexy on a tractor should not be turned into a song!)).  He enjoys writing but its the hobby he gets to do the least thanks to never being able to find himself in the mood to really get working on one of his stories.

Background: Jimmy grew up in a small house hold that consisted of him, his parents and his sister, who is three years older than him.  Their family was a lot bigger, but due to the constant criminal behavior and violent tendencies of the expanded relations the household was pretty much the only blood relationships that he is in contact with.  Most of his life went by as easily as it could.  Due to him never putting very much effort into his studies he never rose to the higher percentage of his class, but thanks to a natural intellect he didn't find himself squirming at the very bottom.  After graduating high school he got a part time job at the Cliffside Cafe and enrolled on some online classes with an aim towards English and Literature.

  He can transform his body to take on traits(or, with great effort, the entire form) of other living animals.  He can use a snake’s genes to simply add venomous fangs to his normal body, or a cat could give him retractable claws.  
He cannot add or remove mass to his body, so any and all changes he makes will still use his own weight and proportions.  For instance, if he transformed wholesale into a honey badger, it would be a 225 lb honey badger.  The same would go if he tried to become a moose, or a blue whale.  He would simply be a larger or smaller version of whatever creature he attempted.  The greater the physical change, the more effort it costs him to make it.  
Transformation is painful and takes time, and so partial transforms are usually more practical.  For instance, he could not grow wings, because that would simply add too much mass to his body.  But he could transform his arms into wings.  
 
The Catch: He has to consume the creature whose traits he wishes to adopt.  It has to be raw, and reasonable fresh.  When he consumes, he makes a conscious choice about traits he wants to take from it.  The more he wants, the more he has to eat.  

Early presentation: An overwhelming urge to eat raw meat, as well as a strange consciousness of the mechanics and architecture of other living things.
