[@AbysmalDemon]
Deneb Astrologian At the Soon-To-Be Wreckage
Maractus couldn't believe what she was hearing. The taller human wanted the horned one to jump from the vessel during a storm as violent as this?! That was a dangerous risk in the current circumstances. with the rocking of the ship, his jump could be cut short, or his clothes could get caught on something, or maybe even drown before he could come back up for air. The worst part was, the tall one's suggestion was actually the best choice with the given circumstances. With the intensity of this storm, they'd find themselves buried in water soon. Maractus looked to her trainer, who had already begun to pick her up. She could feel his blood begin to drip down her spines as he lifted and threw her overboard. Deneb immediately followed suit, jumping off. He took out Maractus' pokeball, and brought her back in before she hit the water. He braced himself as he made contact. The impact of his body onto the water's violently thrashing surface was painful, and it stung as he went through. A moment froze in his mind. In truth, he was scared. This could be his end. He could die before making any progress on his goal. He couldn't help but wonder if this was his fate. Death by storm, be it sand or water. Did the wind hate him and his family? Should he have tried to make progress back in Unova? He didn't know, and he was scared to think on it. But now he sunk, and his eyes opened to watch as the ship went down as well. Deneb's body continued to sting with pain, restricting his own movements. The boy curled up, and took out his sheathed dagger. His vision blurred. As he sunk lower and lower, he wrapped his arms around the dagger, and Maractus' pokeball, and closed his eyes.
