[@TheUnknowable], [@Mr Rage] [@Stern Algorithm] OK, we need to talk about this. It has been over a month since our GM has made an IC post without being poked first. In some games, GM activity isn't so critical, and players can drive the game themselves without so much input from the GM. This is not one of those games. In a game like this one, continued input from the GM is critical to the RP's success. And it isn't happening here. Hence, this conversation. If we talk about it, maybe we can fix things. Some games die off in a slow, all-around slowdown as the frequency of posts just tails off into nothing. Not so here. I think it's fair to say that we have three active, dedicated players who very much want to keep going and consistently post in a timely manner. I myself would really like to see this game flourish, and I'm willing to put some effort into that. I'd like to hear if others see things similarly. Sometimes real life gets in the way of games. That's unavoidable, and it needs to take priority. It's unfortunate when players have to leave and a game dies without them, but that's the way things are. I don't think that's what is happening here. The Unknowable seems to be posting quite frequently in other threads on this site, just not this one. Which leads me to the question, Unknowable, do you want to be playing this game? If not, say so and I'll stop bugging you to post. There's no point forcing it and that's a dead horse I don't want to beat. But if you do still want to play, some things will need to change. There are a few ways that might look. We could try bringing in new players to drive activity between GM posts, or appointing Co-GMs to share the load and create the plot. I'm not demanding a post every day, but there are a number of ways we could address the issue. So, what do you all think? Perspectives, suggestions, rebuttals? I apologise if this post has seemed a little harsh. My main goal here is to understand the issues holding the game back so that we can all enjoy RPing together.
