Non-fandom RPs where there's an already created character with a backstory and look and personality for the character 'you' are supposed to be playing. It bothers me so much, particularly when the premise of the RP is interesting.

It's like I'm reading along, liking the idea well enough, then the CS for 'their' chara comes up and it's like okay, cool you already have your character. Then 'and here is you will be playing!'. >.> Nopes.

I feel like part of the fun of non-fandom RPs is working on a new character and building them up and developing them. And I'd get massive anxiety trying to play someone else's character - there has to have been times where the other person has been 'Your character wouldn't do [i]this[/i] because I created her and I know what she would do.'

Just write a story then, jeez.
