[b]Personality and Traits[/b]: Damien Montenegro is a rather mysterious figure around The Tower, but it used to not be that way. A while back, Damien was just one member of the Howling Corsairs, a group of mercenaries that made a decent living running bounties for the Vanguard. Whilst running patrols for the New Monarchy in The Cosmodrome, the group of Guardians were ambushed and overwhelmed by the House of Devils, a Fallen house who were known to stick to the shadows. Damien was the only one to survive, the crushed Ghosts of his fireteam members kept as trophies by the Fallen Captains that lead the attack. Who was once a vibrant, optimistic contributor had become a detached, rarely seen Guardian, bent on revenge gone for weeks on end at a time traveling the stars, a one man war against all minions of the Darkness, but specifically targeting areas of high Fallen activity, holding a certain disdain for the alien race.

This has led to Damien being given the name Kellbreaker, earned from his time collecting the heads of Captains and other high ranking Fallen officers for the Vanguard. Damien has become an authority on the Fallen due to his extensive experience, often being called on to act as a consultant for operations against the Fallen, large or small. Holding a well earned affinity for Fallen battle tactics and strategy, Damien is often sought after for his experience, but prefers to work alone, his Ghost being the closest thing to a friend he has these days. Damien only stops by The Tower to turn in, pick up bounties and have his guns, armor or ship worked on, mainly keeping to himself as he's in and out as quick as he can be.

Other than that, he does endorse the New Monarchy cause, mainly for the weapons they've provided him in the past, he's also very much respected by Commander Zavala for his service to the Vanguard. He also prefers a close combat style. Loyal, experienced and deadly efficient in his combat prowess, Damien can be a strong contributor to a fireteam, all you have to do is convince him to join.
