I would say try to stay within 3-4 constant heroes. If there's a battle where you need a throwaway hero as in you won't be using them much after that battle then there isn't much of a hard limit.

Basically use common sense and don't go overboard, I don't want to see you running like 20 heroes at any given time.
[/quote]There'd be only one or a few of his sons per battle. It's just that I might make it a plot point that Obould's sons all have their own ambitions and in case Obould dies there's going to be one hell of an inheritance war in the future.
