Ranna looked up at Kyle. [color=6ecff6]"You really need to do something with your girlfriend. She wanted me to go with her to confront this hunter of hers. I told her no. The people need me most right now. They need to get this planted or there won't be anything to eat very soon."[/color]

Kyle silently swore, almost missing the girlfriend comment.

[color=004b80]"Alexis isn't my girlfriend. We have never done anything even close to resembling what boy friends and girlfriends do. She is not that kind of person."[/color]

Kyle almost swore out loud for getting distracted again.

[color=004b80]"But did she say exactly where she was going? I told her I did not want her running off, and she is most likely in need of help."[/color]

Ranna ignored the stranger reaction to her reference to Alexis as his girlfriend. Inside she chuckled because she knew that was exactly what Alexis wanted to do.[color=6ecff6]"She wanted to go to the bunker? She said to tell you to read the note on your desk? She is very aggressive."[/color]

[color=004b80]"Yes yes i know that. Do you happen to know where the bunker is?"[/color]

[color=6ecff6]"I think she said it was under the 'Crazy Donuts shop. Does that make sense to you?"[/color]

Kyle took out the note again and skimmed it, realizing that he was told exactly where to go. She had also left him at the end of her note a rather obvious interpretation that she cared for him a great deal.

[color=004b80]"Yea no great. This is fantastic. Well.......Nice knowing you princess. Tell the last council member that when I die he is the new leader."[/color]

With that Kyle started to walk away from Ranna.

Frustrated at him as per the usual she said [color=6ecff6]"No, I think I could run for it and get the job pretty easily. Why don't you just ask me for help? I told her to ask you if you thought it was a good idea and if you said yes I would go with her. Obviously she knew your answer so why are you chasing her if she isn't your girlfriend?"[/color]

Kyle started to get slightly aggravated.

[color=004b80]"Because Ranna she is part of our tribe. This tribe is my family ok. I have no romantic feelings for Alexis, but if she went missing like she is now, or if anyone from my tribe for that matter went missing, I would do the same. Alexis may not be my girlfriend, but she is my friend. Shouldn't that be enough?"[/color]

Kyle did not mean to but as he spoke he spoke with more confidence and determination than irritation. And what he said what true. Alexis may have feelings for him, surprising as that is, but right now he did not think of her that way. more than likely she was just freaking out over Hunter, and she wanted a way to relieve some undue stress. Kyle composed himself before speaking again.

[color=004b80]:"But you're right. I should have just asked for help. Ranna will you help me get our tribe sister back?"[/color]

Ranna nodded.[color=6ecff6] "Give me one moment."[/color] She returned to the area that they were clearing to plow and gave directions and then returned. 

[color=6ecff6]"I am ready to go. Now what is this 'Crazy Donuts?"[/color]

[color=004b80]"Well it used to be, according to our librarian, a place where people gathered an traded for this dough based food. It isn't too far away we should be there relatively quickly."[/color]

Kyle turned around and started to begin their journey but paused and walked back over to Ranna. He got right in to her face and kissed her nose.

[color=004b80]"And sorry princess, but to take my job you are gonna have to earn it big time. Cant just "Take it". If you tried I would come back from the dead and kick your ass."[/color]

Kyle gave Ranna a wink and broke into a sprint towards their destination.

Ranna smiled in surprise and followed him [color=6ecff6]"You said if you were dead. As I have no current plans to kill you right now I would say your job is safe for the moment. Why is everyone calling me a princess?"[/color]

Kyle laughed out loud and continued on foot to their destination. After an undetermined amount of time Kyle and Ranna arrived at their destination, at the Crazy Doughnuts. The store was a faded and torn white, with a giant doughnut with pink icing on it on the front of the roof. Kyle stopped for a moment and caught his breath. Kyle and Ranna looked around the area, and discovered there was an actual bunker underneath the donut shop. There were a lot of broken down cars and debris in the area. Normally this type of area was surrounded by beasts but for some reason it was eerily quiet.

Kyle and Ranna parkoured over the vehicles and through broken windows, and crept quietly past the front gates of the bunker. Kyle looked around. There was a bunch of dead mutated beasts, and the supposed defenses were all destroyed. Kyle spotted Alexis laying unconscious on the ground in the middle of bunker lobby.

Ranna immediately surrounded them with a dome of safety while looking at Alexis. She kept her eyes open and alert.[color=6ecff6] "Is she alright?"[/color] Ranna asked Kyle. [color=6ecff6]"Grab her and let's go. I don't feel safe here." [/color]Ranna kept them protected all the way back to the tribe. [color=6ecff6]"Where is the medical room? Shouldn't we take her to the doctor?"[/color] Ranna watched as Kyle carried Alexis to Elenor's and put her on a bed. 

Ranna pulled him back outside. [color=6ecff6]"While the doctor is helping her we need to help with the crops. Come on."[/color] She led him back to where the people were working.
