Like its predecessor, the T-22, the T-47's primary armament are two kinetic cannons, as well as missile pods, though these pods are generally swapped out for extended fuel tanks. The T-47 easily keeps up with the T-22, and is only slightly slower, due to its heavier equipment and electronics suite. As a result T-47 is also not as nimble, and takes a full .8 seconds to turn 180 degrees. While unable to mount shielding systems, the T-47 sports a stealth function, allowing it to shut off vital systems and manevure without tripping sensors. Heat generated during this time is contained in shielded heatsinks, which can be ejected after use. The T-47's electronics suite act as an extension to the sensors of its mother-ship, vastly extending the effective sensor range of its command ship with only a .25 second delay. Overall, while extremely similar in performance to the T-22, the T-22 still remains the primary combat fighter due to its considerably lower developmental and maintenance costs.
