Audrey felt Maren's hot touch again. It didn't scald her this time, because of her leather jacket, but when she felt it the second time, she knew she wasn't crazy. Maren's skin was almost too hot to touch, and that would seem impossible if not for what Audrey had already seen happen to Solomon. Would Maren flare up and fly away next? Audrey couldn't think of a way to warn her without sounding insane. This had something to do with the lights. "Something weird is going on," she said, pulling away from Maren's grip as it became uncomfortable to maintain the contact. She looked down at her sleeve and then gestured for Maren to see it too, "Look, you're burning me." Indeed, there was a very much hand shaped mark on the shiny brown leather. Just slightly blackened, but enough to make it out. Just then, someone else entered the room. Audrey recognized her from school years ago, but wasn't sure who she was. But that didn't matter, as she was the only other one here who cared about the flying blaze that was Solomon Majumdar. "Yes!" Audrey stepped forward, ignoring her stumble on her mysteriously injured foot. "He- It came from the beach, did you see where it went?"
