Tokala nearly leapt out of his skin. He hadn't expected to be caught, especially at night. On top of that he was so focused on his internal battle that he had basically ignored his senses. He exhaled and rubbed his neck. He looked at Alexandra and had a look of loss and other emotions swirling in his eyes.

His eyes ended up going downward and they shut for a moment before he opened them and pulled on a fake smile. [color=orange]"I'm perfectly fine. I can leave and be back in a few hours if I go really far"[/color] he was struggling. In a tribe full of people with amazing powers...he felt...useless. For the first time since joining he truly felt pointless.
