Accompanying a massive Greek Life system and flourishing student organizations is its profoundly successful athletic program, all encompassed in the University's state-of-the-art campus. 

SSU has possessed a long-standing winning tradition in college football, only strengthened with the arrival of head coach Alexander Carriel in 2003, with 4 FBS championships under his belt (2005, 2007, 2013, 2014). Their outstanding success in the past decade has gathered a monumental fanbase and top-tier endorsements. At the end of the end of the 2015 post-season, ESPN ranked the Sentries at #2 in the nation, and the favorite to take this season's championship after an incredible recruitment. 

School spirit is at an all-time high. The community is bursting with school spirit, eagerly waiting to flood Sentinel Stadium with streaks of blood and ivory. With talent and team chemistry reaching new highs this year, there's little standing between the Sentries and the 2016 title. [/i][/indent][/indent]
