At any rate, if we're in the time period that I think we are, judging by the lack of technology, about six or seven hundred years in the future, I'm part of an experiment to test humanities first actual attempt at time travel. I was supposed to go into the future, but something went wrong and I ended up back in time. None of my technology works, and I'm stuck here." She explained. "I know you'll probably think I'm crazy, but that's the truth. If you tell anyone, it could change history and endless paradoxes would happen, and the universe would never have existed." She sincerely hoped he understood the gravity of the situation, and believed her.
