Name: Xel'rath
Appearance: Varries but the only persistant thing about him is a hexagonal core (think a bunch of hexagons stuck together to form a 3D shape)
Personality: in one word; analyst, while he does have emotions he often times puts them aside to study what he can, doesn't help his image that he studies/eats things through disintegrating them more often than not.
Abilities:

Matter to Energy conversion: he is able to transfer stored energy to matter and back via disintegration, while also functioning as his "food source" he is able to create a body around his core dependent on his environment and needs, he can also create larger machinations though this requires more energy to do.

Energy control and conversion: along with creating matter from energy and energy from matter, he's also able to manipulate energy in order to do things such as stop a bullet mid-air by draining the kinetic energy in it, dissipating laser fire with a refraction shield, fire disintegration lasers/pulses at things to eat them, and even levitate by absorbing the force gravity exhibits on him, though this is appearently a pain to do so he tends to form legs instead.

omnilingual: due to not actually speaking via a voice of any sort and rather forming a mental link due to the emmission of psionic energy, he can effectively speak any language.

Equipment: anything he can form from his resevoir of energy, however, matter is actually relatively intesive to form so, unless he's taking up residence in a nuclear power plant or a sun, whichever's closer, he tends to just stick to his body and any small things he needs and that's it

Origin: Originally xel'rath was just a non-sentient, star devouring mass of energy wandering his galaxy in search of food until a highly advanced race of aliens played host to him devouring one of their three suns and basically went "oh shit, we need to stop this thing before it gets the other two" and built a device to trap him within a smaller body and, while this worked, it did come at the cost of pissing him right off when he gained sentience due to the lack of need to keep himself from drifting apart and dieing. And as a pissed off god, basicaly, he proceeded to wipe out most of the species, allowing a small fraction of them escape and form a new colony elsewhere to teach them a lesson.

By the way, going to have to reccomened banning the rick and morty multiverse as they would be unstoppable by any force other than themselves. To give you an idea of their power, they have a search function on infinity. Matt will understand the ridiculousness of that and the fact that they do that as easily as breathing doesn't help them in the arguement that they're balanced.
