Though none had been as successful as Susan’s father, Franklin Storm, in matters of science— a fact that was clear with the acclaim Franklin Storm received as a renowned quantum physicist when he was featured on several magazines including TIME in 1985. A born humanitarian that pushed for equality and scientific progress, Franklin took the foundation his grandfather built with The Baxter Building and looked forward to the future with full belief that a new form of energy was out there that could replace old oil and new nuclear with none of the costly effects of either. Juggling teaching students at Empire State University and working at the Baxter Building, Franklin had little time for his wife and children; that is until the death of Mary Storm in a car accident when Susan was seven years old. Realizing his folly and distraught in his grief, Franklin began taking his role as his children’s sole parent more seriously as reality forced him to re-evaluate his priorities. Taking a leave of absence from the Baxter Building he made it clear that his two children were his entire world. As Susan grew up she continued to adore and admire her father, continuing to be fascinated by what his idealistic career in science was to the point that she would strive to learn everything she could about it. By the age of nine, Susan’s prodigal intelligence and astute mind that she had inherited from her father came out after one evening when her father noticed an open notebook of Sue’s that detailed modifications to several of his equations as well as completed some of his unfinished written projects within the field. Such modifications were found to be correct without any errors at all. He started taking her with him after her school days to the Baxter Building to see what the limits of her intelligence possessed as he became fascinated by what she could do. Susan’s life thereon shifted uphill and before she or her father knew it she had cut through high school by thirteen and several universities by eighteen with various accolades. A “mirror” of her father, Sue became known for her grasp on quantum physics and soon received a recommendation for employment at The Baxter Building to work alongside her father. It was here that she met an overeager, ambitious, and young Reed Richards who became one of the few people she could relate to that was her own age. Two years working at the Baxter Building and things financially had started to take a dive despite the innovations the building had promoted since the eighties— her father admitted that despite the great inventions they were responsible for a lot of the focus had been on non-profit administrations and without actual financial backing as well as the loss of several of their financial supporters that the time for the foundation that he had expanded on would be over; he could not keep it afloat on his own bank account alone. With Susan mid-way into a theoretical aerospace engine drive that ran through an unknown energy source she believed that if she had enough time she could convince not only the scientific community but the government about the applications of the new form of energy that could prove profitable in many ways. It was here that her and Reed Richards worked against the clock to finish the project before there would be no “Future Foundation” left. Reed had a prototype for an experimental shuttlecraft, she had a prototype for what she coined as a quantum drive accelerator and the two despite being nervous knew they had little choice as their investors started cracking down on the completion of a project before they threatened to leave like their former peers had done in the past. With no options they enlisted an ex-USAF pilot named Benjamin Grimm and Sue’s younger brother, Jonathan, and prepared for the worst. The flight would break records that NASA had set and surely bring more investors in or at least that is what Reed believed. It would be a flight the four would never forget. ◉◉◉◉ THE FANTASTIC FOUR 2012-2015 Susan Storm, Benjamin Grimm, Johnny Storm, and Reed Richards were struck by a malfunction in the drive when cosmic rays struck them on the trip back from Mars that neither Susan, Reed, or Benjamin could detect as they hit a “storm-like anomaly” in space. The spacecraft took massive damage but due to Johnny Storm the four did not simply perish in space—they would crash in the Atlantic Ocean before falling unconscious themselves. The recovery of the four members was a risk for the foundation, but it oddly served as a big event for the national media as the scientists lay in a coma for a few days at a private hospital in Upstate New York. Throughout the next few months they found themselves changing in radical ways as the apparent radiation (or the negative quantum energy itself) had affected them— Sue vanished in thin air, Reed found his entire body becoming the consistency of rubber, Johnny found himself ablaze, and Ben discovered his muscles rapidly growing and hardening. Thus the Fantastic members of the Future Foundation were born– Susan Storm’s “year one” involved not much further outside of initial tests and studies that Reed attempted to work against the clock to halt or minimize their radiation-brought mutation. Radiation experts like Dr. Elizabeth Ross were brought in but it was generally to no-avail. However, as they fought to come to grips with their new powers a devastating chemical spill occurs and a scientist in the center of the event mutates into a giant monster and begins to attack local neighborhoods nearby to the Future Foundations base of operations (which the four including Susan had returned to after awakening from their coma). Reed deduces they are likely the only response team capable for immediate resolve and begrudgingly the Four approach and surprisingly contain the threat before it does massive damage. Reed brings a sample of the creature back to his lab for study. This would be a trend that continued for several years. ◉◉◉◉ LAYING THE FOUNDATION 2016- Four years since a journalist coined Susan and her friends as The Fantastic Four, things seemed to have sorted out. Reed was equally as brilliant as she was and with his contacts in the scientific community it was here that they had saved the Baxter Building from becoming a distant memory. Her father retired from the project seeking to focus on teaching new minds at Empire State University especially so after seeing what Reed and Susan were bringing to the foundation. Susan still continued to visit her father frequently as she continues to operate as a superhero, scientist, and humanitarian. Under Reed’s suggestion the nonprofit scientific organization was officially coined as “The Future Foundation” as they continue to passionately define a better future for the next generation. She is either unaware or too unable to express the connection she has with Reed; though the feelings on the other side of the fence may be much more dynamic.
[sub][ Ⓕ ] T A L E N T S[/sub]

Genius-level Intelligence: Susan Storm is one of the smartest individuals on the planet— ranking among Forbes top 25 scientific minds of the twenty-first century, the blonde-haired scientist and inventor prolifically ranks in the top ten. Invisibility: Due to the effects of the expedition to Mars, Susan can manipulate her own personal visibility and if pushed the visibility of others by effect the wavelengths of light around them. This makes her have complete invisibility as she is undetectable by all basic appearance to the human eye. Psionic Energy Manipulation: Also due to the effects of the expedition, Susan can also dynamically create and control psionic energy by sheer willpower alone. Through this concentration she is able to project fields of energy that serve as invisible barriers, shields, and weapons that can be utilized in a variety of complex ways. She can additionally use this energy to levitate her own personal body into the air giving the illusion of flight. Return of the Wizard – Despite being the Fantastic Four’s first major villain four years ago, Dr. Bentley Wittman has gone “dark” for several years, but now he plots his revenge on the Fantastic Four after realizing they are at their weakest with the hiatus of Johnny Storm. Madeline never knew her birth parents, and though there were many times in her childhood when she wished she did. Her father had perished in an automobile accident sometime after her birth, and her mother was a sickly woman that died before she was six years old. Her mother’s brother, James, took her in as if she was his own child with his own wife. Madeline saw little of the perils of The Great Depression when it hit given her family’s affluent status though even from a young age she aspired to help others often giving things to less fortunate people even if they were prized gifts given to her by her adopted parents such as cash allowances despite her peers having no interest in following by example. The Great Depression was an example to aspire be the best of humanity, not the most selfish and weak; a belief that she wholeheartedly spoke out with as she found herself to be represent what she believed her country represented the most— liberty, truth, justice, and humility. Much like other future heroes of her generation she hated those who profited on the bones of the weak and bullied others to succeed. It would be something she would take into high school and afterward, the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. When the Office of Strategic Services worked closely with the Armed Forces to fundamentally create the initiative known as “Operation: Rebirth”, eventually their eyes set their sights along several candidates with Madeline Joyce being one of the only female candidates picked directly by Dr. Abraham Erskine. However unlike the individual who would become Captain America, Madeline was a carrier of the then unknown x-gene and its latent abilities were awakened when subjected to the chemical exposure to the vita ray process. The extremely painful process gathered her amazing powers, and though she was utterly shocked as what became of her the horrors of Nazi Germany were too terrible to ignore. However, being female during this time her male superiors were unsure how to take her into battle and kept her effectively locked beyond closed doors back at home— selling war bonds, and doing her “part”. ◉◉◉◉ Miss America 1943-1946 Frustrated, headstrong, and inexperienced with her powers she took off into Europe without support from her superior officers. Donning a costume of red with a blue cape, her first adventures were solo vestments as she rescued Allied POWs and supported her fellows in aerial combat. Taking the title of Miss America, she would continue to operate during the war; though the government denied her existence as “ridiculous propaganda”. By the end of the war she had been promoted in the WAAC (later the WAC) to the rank of Master Sergeant— the highest rank of enlisted members of the agency at the time. It was here that her squadron that she found herself on of specially talented individuals named themselves the Liberty Legion. Thus members included Robert Frank (The Whizzer), Bruce Dickson (Thin Man), Thomas Raymond (The Human Torch), and Louise Grant (Blonde Phantom). On occasion the members would operate together and work with Captain America, Bucky, and The Howling Commandos. The years were good to Madeline and following the war she continued to operate with her fellow heroes to curb injustice where they could. However, these adventures were brief when in 1946 she found herself contending with the pretentiously named “Future Man”— taking him on a fight that would change everything she had ever known. The battle with Future Man would lead to a rupture in his invention as its reactor began to go into a critical state. Madeline ushered Whizzer to get the rest of the legion back as she dealt with containing the problem before apprehending Future Man; though she could not imagine the outcome this decision would bring. However hard she tried and pushed herself to her limit there would be nothing to stop the sheer energy from the machine from unleashing outward and obliterating everything in its general proximity including Future Man and Miss America. ◉◉◉◉ PARADISE LOST 2016- Or that was what the Liberty Legion believed. Though the effects of the energy would be far more dire than knocking her out, unfortunately; as such was clear as she woke up in the rubble no more than sixty-seven years later. Confused, shocked, and lost as a woman out of time she now has to contend with finding Future Man and getting the answers to correct such a grievous mistake. A world so different from her own time… it felt like it was ripped out of a pulp novel.
[sub]T A L E N T S[/sub]

Altered Physiology: Due to the syntheses of her latent x-gene and Project: Rebirth, Madeline’s body underwent several changes to increase its survivability to what it was experiencing. Thus it is relevant to consider Madeline’s mutant physiology as one that hyper-evolved to the point she can be considered superhuman. The powers this entails are described as follows. Extranormal Vision: Whilst currently limited to the ability to see in a scope of x-ray vision and microscopic vision, this power is probably Madeline’s least significant. Flight: Whilst in the air, Madeline can manipulate her own personal gravity field thus allowing her complete maneuverability in the air that can allow for her to move faster than she can on land. Whilst not comparable to The Whizzer’s land-speed, she has gone from San Francisco to London in only a few hours of time. Superhuman Endurance: Madeline has taken direct blows from German tanks, mad scientist’s superweapons, and machine gun fire with little issue. Her skin has mutated to the point that she is pretty much invulnerable to conventional weapons though against other superhuman foes she is likely not to be invincible in such encounters in theory. Superhuman Strength: Madeline was reported by her superior officers to have the strength of “one-hundred men” though it’s not quite sure what the exact yield of her superhuman strength actually is due to the lack of proper scaling of mutant powers in the 1940s. It is yet to be confirmed though it is likely she could come to equal blows with individuals like Hyperion if pushed to her absolute peak in ability.
[sub]A R C S[/sub]

Paradise Lost – After awakening in New York City in 2016, the shock of what has happened hits Madeline with full impact. Not only has her emotions been played with but Future Man is nowhere to be found in a time that is completely alien to her. However, she isn’t stupid and believes Future Man has accidently sent them into the future. With none of her friends to lean on Miss America has to come to terms with things on her own; but how long will it be until SHIELD comes with answers? The Lost Avenger – As a former member of the obscure Liberty Legion, SHIELD approaches Miss America with an initiative called the Avengers requesting her to join the team like she did with the Liberty Legion in return for giving her answers and assistance to her particular problem. Marc grew up living in the cynical eighties raised in a single parent household following his mother’s death to cancer in 1984 when he was seven years old and his brother, Randall Spector was five years old. Marc refused to listen to his father and saw himself as an unruly youth— though in reality it was grief and angst that he couldn’t cope with. When he was a teenager Marc joined a underground fight ring where he became a prize fighter until one day his father interrupted a fight to which Marc and him came to blows. It would be there in that ring that Marc and his father, Elias, settled their differences in the only way the men knew how: fighting. Marc joined the military right out of his senior year of High School in 1995— after several tours of duty he was approached by Amos Lardner, an agent of the CIA, with an offer to utilize Marc’s brilliance beyond simple firefights overseas that could be filled by someone with lesser aptitude scores and utility in the field. Over the next several years he found himself coming into his own as a CIA agent and realized just what Agent Lardner meant with applying his efforts with the organization as opposed to the armed forces. Marc was talented, perceptive, astute, and ingenious in his efforts of infiltrating and sabotaging the efforts of his enemies before vanishing like a spectre of the night. However, as things would come out Spector became distanced from the CIA after discovering that the operations were not as “saintly” as he was led to believe. Not willing to cause a stink about his issues, he received a proper dismissal using the proper channels before opting out to try out mercenary work instead. However, Mercenary Work was evidently worse than Marc’s time in the CIA. As much was evident when the man who hired Marc, Raoul Bushman, was a French Algerian terrorist in all but name and the price for Marc’s employment became the price of Marc’s soul. Upon trying to justify his actions working with Bushman, Marc came upon his current assignment when Bushman ordered the pillaging of an unearthed ruin that was being excavated and explored by renowned archaeologist, Professor Peter Alraune. Bushman was met with resistance by Alurane and order his men to kill everyone and loot the remains. With his conscience catching up with him Marc rejected the order and tried to save the life of Professor Alraune. Although grateful, the professor had taken a few shots from assault rifle fire and realized he was on his last legs. He had Marc promise to protect his daughter from harm and gave him her location. However, while successful Marc had taken several bullets and if not for the intervention of the professor’s daughter (she was a academically-trained surgeon) Marc would’ve probably died in the sand-covered ruin. But he didn’t— waking up alongside the statue of Khonshu he found himself with a new purpose and after receiving a revelation from his near-death state he snagged a white cloak off the statue of Khonshu and began hunting down Bushman’s thugs one by one until Bushman was forced to retreat. ◉◉◉◉ THE CRESCENT CRUSADER 2002-2015 Following his revelations in Africa, Marc Spector had realized that he needed to return to New York City to pursue his quest for redemption and solace. The horrors he had done working for Raoul Bushman alongside many others had made him convinced that he had to repent for the sins he was responsible for. Professor Alraune’s daughter, Marlene, accompanied him back to the United States viewing her father’s death as the last straw in keeping her in Africa though she couldn’t help but admit she had begun to harbor strong feelings for the disjointed former mercenary. However, surviving the ordeal as well as reflecting on his life in the military left Marc disjointed and fractured— the death of his brother by his own hands, countless operations overseas that the government brainwashed him into seeing as rightful, his actions as a mercenary, and other such things had unhinged him from his state of mind. Believing to be the Avatar of Khonshu after convincing himself he was chosen by the god to do his work distanced Marc from many of his former comrades but unbeknownst to them not only was it helping him from falling to pieces it was also very much real. Alongside Khonshu, at first the only allies Marc had at his disposal were his pilot (Jean-Paul “Frenchie” DuChamp) and Marlene Alraune. Utilizing his fortune gained as a mercenary as well as Marlene’s settlement from the death of her former husband, Eric Fontaine, to create the start of his crusade to purge darkness from his city of birth as well as redeem himself in what would be a long and tiring spiritual journey. Marlene’s utter support for Marc was surprising at first but he trusted her as she had been the one who had brought her to Khonshu instead of allowing him to die in the desert ruins. Believing that his former name was “sullied” by his misdeeds he created the new identity of Steven Grant using his connections in the CIA to authenticate it with some legitimacy. But it wouldn’t be until the development of his alias, Moon Knight, that things would truly begin to take shape. Enhanced by Khonshu, Marc would begin seeing his powers as Moon Knight fully develop— this included but was not limited to protection from evil, the gift of healing, the cloak of the moon, and on occasion prophetic visions that drove Marc continuously further into delusion-induced mania. He became obsessed with stopping the crimes and horrors he saw and knew it was Khonshu’s truest will that he would protect others in his name. His dialogue began to shift into cryptic quips and paladin-esque righteousness; a fact that the criminals of New York City soon found frightening as he began to descend upon them with the wrath of a god behind him. Moon Knight was brutal and ruthless; a reputation that would be cemented when his vigilantism led to Detective William Flint investigating his efforts. Marc could not imagine Detective Flint would become his first ally in New York City, but eventually it was realized to be true when Flint sought out Moon Knight asking for his help with a series of “freak homicides”. Marc agreed. As Marc began his career investigating these homicides and stopping petty crime where he could, he realized that he needed to be more equipped to which that he was eventually pointed in the direction of a former Stark Industries weapons designer by the name of Buck Lime. After a series of cases crossing over and Lime seeing the good in Moon Knight’s actions he agreed to help design and develop equipment for him as long as their interests aligned. A friendship between the two would take many years to develop but in the beginning the foundation of obligations and threats were how their relationship began. It would be also with Lime’s help that Marc would more accessibly be able to use his natural deductive abilities and tactics he developed as a CIA agent for Khonshu’s benefit and by extension New York City’s as well. Thus it was here that Marc continued to explore the cases the NYPD needed his and Khonshu’s help in providing answers to. Everything from vampires to werewolves to cultists to peculiar serial killers fell in as Moon Knight’s very first foes and he eagerly contended with them with the zeal that was required of him. It was in these actions that investigative journalists began reporting on what they called “The Crescent Crusader”; a fine nickname to fit a servant of Khonshu. However as the years got more challenging, so did his foes. ◉◉◉◉ SHADOWS OF THE MOON 2015- In the years since Moon Knight has remained an elusive yet necessary piece of New York City. He’s dealt with supervillains, criminal syndicates, supernatural beasts, mystical foes, and corrupt businessmen. He has made many enemies, few allies, and continues to do what he does best in the shadows of the moon. His friendship with Marlene has blossomed into a romantic relationship despite his best efforts to distance her from his madness and zealous crusade; but alongside his small crew he has grown fond of the blonde-haired surgeon as much is clear as the two have produced a daughter named Jessica some years ago. Marc constantly fears for the well-being of his daughter and romantic partner, but Khonshu has not willed his quest to be over nor would Marc accept such a conclusion when the world is facing itself in its darkest hour. As there is always darkness outside of the presence of moonlight, Marc prepares himself for what lies ahead.
[sub]T A L E N T S[/sub]

Enhanced Physiology: Supposedly enchanted by Khonshu, Marc has an array of abilities that include— accelerated healing, supernatural effects of fear upon his enemies, dark vision, partial invisibility when concealed in darkness, and occasional prophetic visions. Hand-to-Hand Combat: Marc Spector has been described as a master martial artist with a range of comprehension of forms such as boxing, judo, savate, krav maga, and jiujutsu. His knowledge is so expansive that his enemies have witnessed firsthand how brutal and precise he can be in combat— whilst Marc is not unrivaled in his mastery of martial arts and reactive combat he is certainly in one of the highest tiers present. Investigation: As a former agent of the CIA, Marc has learned the tricks of the trade when it comes to information gathering and reacting swiftly with the analysis of that information. He’s an excellent investigator, detective, and reactive fighter due to such skills and considering he utilizes them every single day it is no surprise he is one of the premier investigative superheroes on the planet. Marksman: Marc Spector is a former soldier, spy, and mercenary thus it is no surprise that he holds a particular set of skills that lends to mastery with firearms. It is not a far belief to say that he has mastered the usage of assault rifles, handguns, and submachine guns with competency in other forms of firearms. Although he does not rely on such things as Moon Knight on a regular basis he reminds people just because he doesn’t use something doesn’t mean he is unable to. Peak Human Conditioning: Due to a selective diet, constant training, and rigorous crusades upon his enemies Marc’s body is in a state of peak fitness where he is stronger, faster, and quicker than the average human. Stealth: The CIA didn’t only teach Marc to be skilled at information gathering but also infiltration and espionage. Even with Khonshu’s blessing there is little argument that Marc is as silent as it comes unless he wants to be heard. He has snuck up on many enemies and allies with little-to-no effort in several situations. Using her money as an affluent socialite, Lynn James hires out a discreet contract to the criminals of the world. One Million Dollars if they can kill Moon Knight. Moon Knight grabs his silver cestus and prepares to get to work; but this supernatural effect might rely on a little more help than Moon Knight is used to having.

Prologue: A Crescent Moon New York City, United States
The presence of Moon Knight means something to the criminal ‘elite’ of New York City— an ever-present ghost of vengeance that lingers in the streets ready to manifest itself into merciless violence. However, it is a presence that they don’t believe is real. Fourteen years and with each new syndicate or gang and they liken the stories told from the prison cells of their predecessors as delusional fairytales. I never could understand how such smugness breeds stupidity, but in all honesty I like it that way. For if they keep breeding the cycle of ignorance and doubt about my alter ego it makes all the much easier to break them into dust. Tonight is no different. Francis Giovitti, a local schmuck who has fashioned himself as a new breed of mobster, has reared his head after spending most of his life in Atlantic City terrorizing those there with the same old generic tactics. I don’t know why he thinks he can make it here but he’s in for a rude awakening; New York’s most powerful criminal organizations are not a fan of his antics and crossing the likes of The Kingpin or The Committee are probably the stupidest decisions you could make as an aspiring criminal. Normally I would be ambivalent and let the criminals put holes in each other but Khonshu has tasked me away from such actions with murmurs that flash in my dreams of things to come and I see Giovitti killing innocent people caught in the crossfire— my daughter’s elementary school being one such unfortunate casualty. Khonshu wills me to protect the innocents from evil and watch other those who cannot protect themselves. But this vision? Giovitti just made things personal and tonight he will be punished for his sins and transgressions.
