So, this is another CS. Not for my character, but for the mentor of my next character concept.
Theme: ~Still Looking~ Quote: "Those who accept mortality accept that all their achievements will come to nothing." Name: Vrondi Calidae (Or Calidae Illumi, I'm not sure which is Vrondi Illumi's family name) Age: 567 Species: Descendant (Soul Cage) Blood%: 50% Sol, 50% Nayu Gender: Female Sex Preference: Asexual Height: 13'7" Weight: 930 lbs Physical appearance: Apparel: ^ But everything is exceedingly enchanted, with one purpose, using stolen souls to steel her own body and soul against the call of the void. Vehicle: See pets. Personality: Calidae is obsessed with immortality, and obsessed with achieving it herself, pride and legacy being two of her primal guiding directives. She was unwilling even to accept her half-brother's assistance in trying to ascend in return for stopping being a generally horrible person. She has no compunctions against literally ripping the souls out of innocents to feed her life. On the brighter side, she does honestly appreciate the approval of other human beings, and has without hesitation trained several others in the arts of necromancy and enchantment, asking nothing more than acceptance from her students. She sometimes dreams of a world where everyone is immortal, fed on the souls of lesser beings to live forever. Occupation: Blight Upon the Nature of Life Faction: Calidae has FANTASTICALLY bad relationships with most factions. And countries. And people in general. Rolling into a village with an army of undead and stealing everyone's souls to live another century makes some enemies. Pet: Literal armies of undead descendants and dragons. Calidae has been building up an army since the Dragon War, and there were plenty of high grade corpses and souls in that war. She's needed this army to avoid being targetted by other factions and even kingdoms. Adv. App.: Calidae has been experimenting with merging technology and her necromancy, mostly by mounting guns on her undead minions. She's not much of a technologist, however, and so they've been pretty half baked. Nothing even close to the level of an Advanced App. Exp: Calidae has been pushing the boundaries of enchantment and necromancy since the Dragon War. This is her only focus, save for the training of a few disciples between no and then. Spells: Soul Cage- Calidae has transformed her body and armor, now pretty much one unit of enchantment, into a cage for her own soul, fueled by the souls and blood of other life forms. Thus, she is very immortal unless her physical form and body are obliterated by overwhelming firepower or the enchantments unbound. Raise Dead- Calidae has mastered the basic necromantic art of raising the dead to fulfill her will a dozen times over. Ghost in the Machine- Worried about the rise of technology, Calidae has worked on binding ghosts to enemy technology to bring it into her domain and control it. Generally this just results in fantastically malfunctioning technology, or in the case of some Advanced Apps, creating a supercharged beast of chaos. Fleshwarp- Hoping to create a race of lesser beings to feed off of, Calidae has experimenting with warping body and mind. No successes so far, but she has created a number of monsters. And probably lots of other necromantic and enchantery good stuff. She's had a long time to study. Abilities/Powers: N/A Weapons: Ravener Staff, made from the crystalized blood and bones of a Dragon "God", forged over fifty years of non-stop enchantment, Calidae created a staff to enhance her necromancy. While the Ravener Staff is definitely durable enough to be used as a weapon or shield, Calidae is exceedingly unlikely to do so, as it's damage or destruction could be a fifty year setback. History: Born in the early years of the Dragon War, Calidae grew up in the shadow of shining beings and warriors. Her own arts, were rather less savory. But in the terror of war, any method was allowed for victory. When victory had been achieved, Calidae isolated herself to persue her art and the ultimate holy grail of it, immortality. The cost was the blood and souls of other Descendants and Dragons, but this was a small price to pay for her victory over death. Since then, she has continued her studies to double and redouble her lifespan, ever weaving stronger enchantments, raising another wall of minions to protect herself, and spilling the blood of innocents in those pursuits. Her pride and joy, in life, such as it is, however, has been the students she has tutored over the years. Trivia: Calidae has for numerous obvious reasons never been considered as a canditate for ruling Vrondi. Her Nayu blood is not of a royal line.
