[b]With the colonizer's society collapsing several hundred thousand years ago, only some effects of terraforming remain.
One such effect is the colonizer's interest in the Erko, which they have modified to become even more ferocious than before.
The Erko have split into two groups; The Erkotek, hard-shelled carnivores, and the Iwog, aquatic algae-eaters.
Additionally, new species have been added to the ecosystem by the colonists elsewhere.

The Korr have evolved short limbs with touch-sensitive hairs that curl into the Korr's "mouth" when landed on by small insects.

The Grintep have become bipedal.
