Doing a last minute check, Gideon counted his angle grinder, a blow torch and power drill among the tools he had retrieved from his room. Hoisting the sledge hammer that was hanging loosely in his hand across his shoulders, Gideon climbed onto the mule where Daphne was more or less patiently waiting. "Alright, lets move out." Gideon said giving Daphne a pat on the shoulder as he slunk into the seat opposite of her, putting his feet on the rail surrounding the the mule's cockpit. As the two traveled with Daphne's expert piloting easily navigating the dry and rocky terrain, Gideon watched the surroundings change as they entered into the mine's perimeter. Temporary quarters had been erected when the mine was still operation but between the climate of the planet and their abandonment, the housing had fallen into a state of disarray. The wreckage of downed ships and mining vehicles littered the area, scorch marks staining the remnants of the hulls. "Anywhere here should be good." Gideon called to Daphne over the roar of the mule's engine as he pointed towards the old mine. As the mule landed, Gideon climbed down casually swinging around his sledge hammer as he began to examine the wreckage laying about. "Keep your eyes open for a decent hull, we need a patch for ol'Vengeance." He began. "Hydraulic fluid would be good too, and hell I'd take a compression coil so we don't have to worry about the one I jury rigged." He paused, letting out a dark chuckle as he rubbed some ash off a piece of an old ship before leaning on it. "I image it would be futile to look for a fire suppression unit though." Looking back at Daphne, Gideon turned towards what looked to be a mostly intact housing unit, eyeing it up with a raised eyebrow, the engineer made his way towards it. Opening the door, Gideon stepped inside, fumbling around for a light switch within the dimly lit interior.
