Placeholder for Shade and Fiora when I actually find their CS'S from the archive. Also, might repost and rework Sieg's archive and bring him back to play.
Name: Veles Alosia Nickname: Itzal Species: Seraphim Age: 35

Shade controls and manipulates shadows and darkness. His magic is all about entropy and curses, and he has the ability to transport himself and objects through shadows. His own shadow is able to expand and take shape at will, and consumes living matter to empower or heal Shade. His abilities are by no means negated by light, though they become more pronounced and visible under those conditions, conversely, his attacks are almost invisible at night and makes him a dangerous foe in his element. He has limited psionic or telepathic abilities, able to cipher through memories or create illusions in someone's mind directly, but able to do little else. He certainly is incapable of mind control or reading people's thoughts by sight, and is unwilling to use such talents. Even the least intelligent minds can prove treacherous terrain to tread for the unwary. He is well trained as an assassin and as such has a level of agility and skill that most seraphims do not possess. He has contacts in almost every major port of call or city and is well-connected with its underbelly. He goes by aliases and false identities mostly. If anyone in power or wealth knows of his true profession, they're either clients or wise enough to keep quiet about it.
Weapons:
Runes are carved onto the blade, which reacts to Shade's shadows and infuses them into it, coating it with Shade's curses and magic. A black glow surrounds it when activated. The wounds inflicted are cursed and never heal fully unless Shade himself lifts them. Depending on the severity of the blow, the curse may actually cause the afflicted area to atrophy and rot, spreading to the other parts of the body until the victim is dead. The daggers literally sap the life from their targets and increases their power. Shade benefits slightly from this as his wounds are slowly healed and his strength replenished, though permanent and lethal injuries won't be healed in time to save him. Nosferatu has a twin that Shade keeps hidden in his shadow and never uses unless absolutely necessary.

Shade is deadly lethal with them, and they are almost always cursed or poisoned or enchanted in some way, or some combination of the three. Since the daggers are created using his magic through a ring he obtained, he has an endless supply of them.

Shade is known among his fellow Seraphims as the "Cursed Prince", as he has the power over the shadows. Among the seraphims, one who controls the darkness is cursed with "evil" blood, and as such, Shade was outcast at birth and raised by fellow exiles, who taught him how to control his shadow magic, though none of them really knew how it worked, so he could only learn its basic uses. That was until, one day when a pack of ferals attacked the exile village and killed everyone. Shade's power went out of control and started killing everything around him - feral and seraphim. As each of them fell to his power, their shadows were absorbed into his and his power grew. A group of assassins, a mix of daeva and humans, passed by the site of carnage and seeing Shade's terrifying power, wanted to kill him. Yet a kind soul among them decided to take him in and raise him as a son, teaching him to keep his power under control. Over the years, Shade has learned to control his own unique ability and develop his own style of using it in combat. He forms weapons with his shadow - crossbows and swords mostly, and is able to form wings and take flight, though he cannot go too high above the ground or risk falling to death. Upon arriving in Adalrich, Shade confronted an old nemesis and betrayer, Halden. The two fought to a stalemate and eventually Shade gave his life to kill Halden and end his Pit operations once and for all, though he had a trick up his sleeve - using the soul of someone who truly loved him (his dead wife), he reconstructed a new body for himself and took possession of it. With a new face and identity, Shade now seeks redemption and strives to be more than the monster he was.

Shade becomes armoured in his shadow, which wears away anything that comes in contact with it, so the more times a blade strikes him, the weaker its metal becomes until it eventually shatters. Though the effect is perhaps not as keen when his fighting style focuses more on not getting hit. It doesn't apply to magical effects, though projectiles are quickly dispelled thanks to their relatively small mass. Though it seems to be light plate armour, it covers his whole body and doesn't seem to have joins, since it is still his shadow.

Shade does not have physical wings. Or rather, they are made of shadows, so he can "hide" them at will. Upon regeneration, his body now has a tattoo of black phoenix on his back, its wings spanning out to meet his arms at the shoulders. Black runic markings start glowing and wisps of black aura seem to come off them when he is in full battle fever.

Before his regeneration, Shade was a infamous member of a league of assassins, the Spectres. Though originally founded by seraphim and operating exclusively within their own borders, they have since branched out and now have members of all races as well. They are hard to track down and all people know of them are from rumours and speculation. Of course, it only adds to their legend and reputation that so little is known about them. No one is untouchable to them and they are willing to take a contract on anyone... for the right price. That isn't to say they're mindless killers either - they're more than willing to be hired as bodyguards or escorts, and they have never been tricked into being hired by the law or walking into ambush set for them. They are largely unaware that Shade has regenerated or that he even possesses the knowledge to cheat death.

---
Name: Fiora Garahel Nicknames: Black Fox Age: 21 Gender: Female Race: Human/Seraphim Hybrid Magic Specialization
Fiora drains anyone who makes physical contact with her of their life essence, converting it to physical and magical power. While not immediately fatal, she can drain someone to the point of death. The process can also be quite intimate, as she absorbs not only power but memories and emotions as well. She can channel this energy as magic empowering her punches and kicks, but is unable to channel this power more than a few metres away from herself.

Fiora is deceptive as a means of survival - her power ensuring that she must never draw attention to herself unnecessarily while ensuring she has a steady supply of life essence to feed on. She is very perceptive of people and observant of her surroundings, quick-witted and composed. She can be charming when she wants to but is often sarcastic and cold to others, but always blunt and brutally honest with her words. She does have a soft for the weak and oppressed, and an equally strong hatred for the powerful and rich. She likes singing and has a good voice, though she often uses it to draw in her next victim when she needs a quick drink of energy.

Fiora doesn't use weapons, instead choosing to fight with her natural weapon - her body. She is well-trained in most styles of hand-to-hand combat, and augments this with her magic. Her ability to drain energy from others provides her with superhuman speed and strength, enough to match even ferals, though it depends on how well fed she is. She is agile and nimble, allowing her to scale walls and navigate obstacles with ease while being virtually silent.

Fiora is the love child of a seraphim nobleman and her human mother. Her father was influential enough that the fact caused a huge scandal in the seraphim lands - enough to ensure her mother was exiled and forced to flee to Dumont. While her mother was given some coin in secret to live out her life in peace, it was hardly enough to raise Fiora alone in a land when an unmarried woman raising her own daughter was sure to be treated like scum - especially when her daughter carried seraphim blood. Matters only became worse when her abilities manifested. After the first time she nearly killed a boy she had been playing with, Fiora lived out the rest of her childhood alone and isolated. Any time she tried to find work or venture into the marketplace, she was chased away either by soldiers at spear point or by citizens with angry pitchforks. Her mother could never find work aside from scrubbing floors while Fiora lived sequestered away from public view. Her mother passed a few years later, and Fiora resorted to stealing food and coin at night, befriending the thieves and sewer rats of the capital. Among the downtrodden and desperate, she found kindred spirits who didn't think of her power as a curse, but an asset. She felt useful for the first time in her life and continued this way for years - learning how to fight and how to stay anonymous. That was when she got her nickname of “Black Fox”, when the citizens started talking about a woman who prowled around at night draining young men and women alike of their vitality and leaving them weak and bedridden for days, some even saying a succubus had been summoned by a cult and was plaguing them. The guards knew better of course, that these men and women were often found liberated of their purses and thus they were dealing with a thief – albeit a good one.

Fiora starts glowing with a blue aura when she throws her power at full strength. She meditates to help keep her ability in check and keep her mind intact from any memory absorption.

---
Name: Kayla Sieghart Nickname: "Kay" to her friends, also known as "Guardian" or "Lady of Elements" Species: Seraphim Age: 27

Kayla has no wings. She can craft one for herself out of her magic, but is able to fly without them.

Bladestaff - "Gaia" An orb is encased within the pommel and glows a different colour based on the elements Kayla is using. The entire weapon itself is a powerful magical conduit that draws magical energy from both Kayla and her surroundings, thus she is able to channel and cast power spells normally beyond her ability by tapping into the elements around her, though the physical drain of doing so is great and she risks losing her magic for a few days if the spell is too powerful or overdone. Gaia has a mind of its own and responds to no one but Kayla, as well as communicating to her at opportune moments or carrying the memories of its previous masters or mistresses. It becomes immovable to anyone else but her, and should she throw it like a spear, it will always appear in her hand moments after impact. She has tried to figure out just what kind of magic went into Gaia's creation, but with little luck. Kayla can only tell you that the weapon itself is ancient and to her knowledge, shows no sign of having ever been broken or repaired.

Kayla was born with a gift for elemental magic, and was exceptional even among the Seraphim. Her magic seemed to come alive - her spells carried a beauty and grace with them that no other mage was able to match. She was able to give form to the elements around her, summoning elemental constructs or creatures to fight for her. She would have been the pride of the seraphim magi, had she been treated seriously. For all their magical prowess and intellect, seraphim were singularly close-minded and bigoted when it came to deformities or what they perceived as defects. Kayla had been born without wings and thus was unable to fly for most of her childhood until she figured how to use the wind to lift herself, or create wings for herself with her talents. Still, it was too little too late, for as much of a prodigy as she was, seraphim society never accepted her as one of its own. She was unable to take part in most games seraphim children played, or many of their activities that involved flying. She remembered having to take a carriage to the Academy because she was never able to fly herself. Most of all, she was never given a position that fitted her skill or recognised for her achievements because a seraphim without wings had no reason to feel pride. It wasn't until she was taken under the wing of an Elemental Master that things started looking up. Her mentor was a man who judged people by their merits and saw not their physical defects or race, but rather their character. Among the Elemental Masters, one's control and mastery of their talents was valued more than their status, or birth. For the first time, Kayla felt accepted and found a family there. As she matured into a young woman, she was of course entrusted with tasks fitting for her. She tutored young students herself, her skill and talent silencing young upstarts who challenged her lack of wings. All that was ripped away from her, however, as her mentor was one day found slain in his hometown. They had traveled there to put down a pack of ferals that had been attacking the village and evading the guards. Kayla had been asleep and did not notice her mentor leaving the cabin until the next morning when the guard paid her a visit. It seemed he had gone into the surrounding forest in the middle of the night and never returned, and his corpse was found by a patrol the next morning with two score of dead ferals around him. His staff Gaia had gone missing as well. Kayla was named his successor as one of the Council of Elements, and found herself charged with accompanying Lady Dralina on her quest for a cure for feralism. It was on that journey that she was reunited with Gaia, who gave her vision of her mentor's last moments and directed her to the Guardians for training.

Kayla is the quiet helper of the group. She takes on the menial tasks without being asked to and keeps things organised as well as keeps track of everyone's needs silently. One may often find their weapons oiled or armour polished come morning, or most of the campsite packed and ready for departure because Kayla had taken care of it. She isn't the most talkative of people, but can hold a conversation. Though her unhappy childhood shows itself from time to time in subtle ways - such as being extremely excited to be included in the group for an activity, or becoming over-enthusiastic over group bonding. She is fairly independent and after a lifetime of having to fend for herself and shed blood, sweat and tears to earn what she has, Kayla's ability to rely on others for help is nearly impaired. One may often find Kayla writing in her journal or reading some tome during her free time and somehow is able to keep track of conversations around her even then.

The Guardians - They are regarded as myth, but scholars dedicated to their lore will tell you that these small group of people exist - humans, daeva and seraphim who all had extraordinary gifts bestowed upon them by nature itself, to serve as her guardians in a world filled with destruction and turmoil. Their numbers can be counted on one's fingers and Kayla recently joined them as the newest Guardian. She has been training under them, though at this point in her life they're more philosophical lessons and beliefs that are passed down to her more than actual skills or knowledge that she has in spades.

--- Okay, that's my re-work for Sieg. Genderswapped him to a girl because I can't find a proper image that fit him and I was not about to search through hundreds of slash fanart of Male Hawke to find the right image to use at work (in a military camp)
