[@Ojo chan 42] Got it, strength first, then hereditary.  I guess they figure the old leader would pass on strength and/or wisdom to their male child, more than another, potentially stronger male would have.

I honestly have no idea how to reply to your second statement without sounding like a jerk, but that stung.  =/
