Shadow Jane is not usually seen with her iconic shadow armor. Dressed fully in black ( head to toe ) , not even her face can be seen by most. Her black helmet hides her face features almost perfectly. When her helmet is not put , her black hair can be seen going down her shoulders and her white eyes are enough to put the fear in her enemies. 

Personality: Shadow Jane is rather friendly when it comes to interacting with other mortals. Most people are afraid of her because of her appearance so must ignore her before they get the chance to meet her.  

Backstory:

Jane Blackburn was born as a normal human on the streets. She learned to steal from a young age and at the age of 16 she was the youngest thief to be introduced to The Coin. The Coin was a cult inside the major thieves guilds in the world. They all worshiped Ashevelen as their Goddess. At first she was skeptical of everything The Coin stood for , how could someone that steals for a living to worship the Goddess Of Luck. After 4 years , she understood that Luck was everything a thief will ever need.
At the age of 23 , she was hired to steal an ancient artifact from a known criminal. She went inside the criminal's mansion and she didn't expect that the artifact to be booby-trapped. A deadly poison was going though her body and a part of her organs failed working. She knew she was about to die , so she started to pray to Ashevelen for help. Ashevelen answered the call and a shadow appeared near Jane. 
She was asked to merge with the shadow in order to save her life. She did so and she became the only Half-Shadow - Half-Human hybrid. After she returned with the artifact , she promised to Ashevelen to roam the lands to help those in need of Luck in their life in the Goddesses name.

Motivation: She is alive because of Ashevelen. She is ready to do anything for her.

Why have they been chosen as a hero?: Her devotion and reliance on Luck to do most of her jobs was what moved Ashevelen and when she heard the plea of help , she immediately sent a shadow to keep her alive because of her service.

Equipment: Black Magical Armor ( it's heavy armor , imbued with magic that allows it to not make any noise when she moves )

	   An amulet of Luck. 

Magic: Blink - Shadow Jane can teleport from shadow to shadow.
       Invisibility - Shadow Jane becomes one with the shadows around her , making her invisible
