Ah, yes. Cher Lloyd. A singer whose popularity died out as quickly as it began.

Now don't get me wrong, I actually really like Cher Lloyd's music and being that I'm from New Jersey, there is always some room in my heart for Pop music. Cher Lloyd happens to fall there along with a few other songs people wouldn't expect me to like such as Brokenhearted by Karmin and Applause by Lady Gaga. Although the two previously named songs were considered long before Oath, I ultimately decided on choosing Oath for one reason: I actively hide the fact that I both like and listen to this song. I don't know why I do, but I do. I'd rather be caught listening to Cake By The Ocean than this song and [b]I DON'T KNOW WHY[/b].

The only reason that I really know this song is because it was popular right around Hurricane Sandy. I was in one of the directly effected areas and we were without television and power for a few days and ended up relying on my battery powered radio (I suppose it's good that I was the weirdest kid ever and listened to RADIO still - what a scandal!) during that time period. I was also in a Roleplay through Skype with one of my best friends and a mutual friend of ours during that period of time and it really helped me keep my shit together. This song, in a way, also reminds me of said best friend (but shhh, he doesn't know that).
