Appearance: [b]African-American female, often wearing the wardrobe of light shirts and shorter shorts. Varying in paler colors for her tops, but almost always jeans at the bottom. Always wears a black and red pair of tennis shoes. Picture below.[/b]

Personality: [b]Almost always optimistic, with the mindset on the journey, rather than the destination. While she is rather resilient, she does have her own moments of realism, where she would quit for the good of herself or others. She sees the good in other people, though that still has yet to be tested.[/b]

Likes: [b]Chocolate Ice Cream, swimming, trees, nature, animals (especially puppies), and nerdy people (she's somewhat attracted to nerdy guys)[/b]

Dislikes: [b]Cynicism, cynical people, Cable News networks, war, unnecessary drama/conflicts, sweet potatoes[/b]

Background: [b]Gabby grew up under a veteran father and sweet mother, her father having served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, each, under the flag of the U.S. Army. Her father, Jack Dickerson, wasn't around often for Gabby but when he was around, he was like the best thing to her. Her mother, Kendall Dickerson, was one of the wisest Gabby has ever known. Due to the high mortality rate of infants after the event, Kendall was quite thankful for the fact that Gabby made it out alive, and since then, Kendall has seriously 'babied' Gabby up until she graduated high school. Some of that still shows in Gabby's character, and while Gabby does know a bit about the world, she chooses to ignore it and not let it get to her. When Gabby turned 10, Jack brought back a military dog for her and Kendall to raise. His name was Kirk, a young German Shepard that got wounded in combat and was then taken home. It didn't take long for Gabby and Kirk to become best friends, and it would be safe to say that as Gabby took Kirk with her nearly everywhere she went.[/b]
