Kat didn't wait to form an alliance. It wasn't that she was foolish belief that she was better alone, but cooperation involved trust and she was not going to give that out to anyone here. Besides, what with her reputation she doubted anyone would offer themselves. She disappeared from the field and reappeared amongst the trees, quickly getting her bearings and darting behind a tree so that anyone wandering from the clearing would not see though judging by the distance she should have a little time. She gave herself a little shake, this was hardly life or death, there was no need to unleash hell. Shooting herself was still a viable option.
