Shiranui was glad to not only make it into the standard appeals round, he was among the top 32.  He had seen Harley's appeal and was reminded of Kumo—his own Ariados.  "[i]I'll have to pay the rest of my Pokémon a visit at some point,[/i]" he mused to himself.  He recognised Drew and Wallace as coordinators he had beaten in his quest for ribbons and was not surprised at May being amongst the people who made the cut—she had done a marginally better appeal than Shiranui.  "[i]No big surprise, she's got experience in the field.[/i]"  Soledad was someone that Shiranui recognised from his research as a past winner of the Grand Festival.
