Use PNG instead of JPEG. JPEG reduces quality like mad. PNG is lossless (larger files but BEAUTIFUL).

Try to cut the large image into smaller ones. It lightens the load on phones and shit like that. I was going to put in more tips, but I am, in all honesty, zonked out.
