[b][color=cyan]What Brings You To Cairo:[/color][/b] Due to her family's bar getting raided by the police due to the Prohibition Act Lauren had to leave her family behind. Her husband having nothing to do with her family running the bar secretly agreed to keep their daughter safe. Lauren used whatever money that she had left from her previous job and quickly bought the next ticket out of the US, she decided that Cairo would be the furthest place from home and decided to lay low there until things blew over. 

[b][color=cyan]Life Before You Moved To Cairo:[/color][/b] Lauren was born to a small family, her father was an Irish immigrant trying to find a better life in the US, that is where he met Lauren's mother a nurse. The two of them eventually got married and had three children, Lauren being the oldest. Then two years later her sister was born, and then the youngest was her brother four years later, growing up Lauren lived a rather normal life. Her father eventually opened a bar in Philadelphia, her school life was pretty normal as well Lauren had quiet a lot of friends growing up. She eventually graduated high school, however not to many people wanted her in college and eventually decided to work with her father at his bar.

Lauren eventually grew to liking working with her father and made drinks for the people who came in, eventually that is when she met her eventual husband Johnathan. The two of them hit it off rather quickly he became a regular, the two of them eventually got married and then she became pregnant with her daughter. Then came 1920, The National Prohibition Act was enacted, this effectively shut down her father's business. This was their livelihood so Lauren and her father secretly kept selling, while taking care of her daughter as well.

Lauren and her father continued to successfully work, she started bootlegging for her father secretly getting and distributing alcoholic drinks to their customers. Then eventually the police started cracking down, the police raided her father's establishment Lauren and her father quickly made it back home. Due to her and her father working they were wanted, so she told her husband that she was going to be leaving for awhile, her daughter five years old at the time. Lauren bought a ticket while her father would return to Ireland until things cooled down.  

[b][color=cyan]Life Since You Moved To Cairo:[/color][/b] Once Lauren had touched down in Cairo she searched for any kind of job that would hire her. It was tough for her. Spending the first few days doing odd jobs around the city she chose Cairo because it sounded interesting, and with the excavations going on she thought it would be very interesting to see what everything was like. Lauren continued to do odd jobs just to get by she wouldn't really care what the jobs were as long as they kept her fed.

Lauren and Nora have had a few drinks together, and talk on occasion Lauren always ends up out drinking Nora. They some ones just smile and wave to one another when they are passing each other. But they don't know one another enough but Lauren certainly sees her as a friend.
