[@Treue] Colonists in Halo: Reach seemed to be mostly Hungarian, few of the Western European nations seem to have emigrated to the colonies. I imagine that France, Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal etc. confined their colonies to the solar system, since they, along with the US, were richer and more able to fund colonies when it was just starting up.
