Jason sighed to himself as he walked through the dusty halls of the castle. He always loved walking through the storied halls of Hogwarts. It was unusual for Jason to be walking all by himself. Being the captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team usually meant that he had someone following after him. It got annoying when you had to slink away from the watchful eyes of his house. There also was the issue that they were in the running for the Inter-House Quidditch Cup. Even though it was only the first week of term, everyone seemed to think that Gryffindor team was going to win. Professor Longbottom had been dropping not too subtle hints about tryouts. He had already given Jason a list of possible candidates for the team. He still needed two beaters and a new seeker. It seemed that everyone in the house had an idea as to who should be on the team and they saw it as their duty to inform Jason. Even if he did not want or need their help in this matter. With all of his focus on the team, he did not have all the time he needed for his class work. Course even when he was focusing on his work, he was not all that good with school. He was decent at Defense against the Dark Arts and Herbology. However, everything else was a complete blank for him. That was one of the issues he was facing tonight. Earlier in the week, he had been assigned a project for Defense against the Dark Arts. He still had no idea what it was but he knew who his partner was. He had been assigned to work with some Slytherin named Logan or something. The guy looked familiar he thought as he followed the other person into the library. He usually was not the type to stalk someone but he was desperate. This project was a large part of their grade for the term. When the other man sat down, Jason flopped down onto a chair opposite from him. "So apparently we are partners or something?" He said not even saying hello. He was never one for decorum. He was not being quiet at all. "We should get started on whatever it is sooner rather then later..." He said still talking rather loud.
