“Agents,” Rebecca mused quietly as she finished up her notes. “I wonder if someone would ever join that thing willingly?” She shut her book and let the rest of the team take point, eventually arriving at a vast chasm. An old, rotten plank of wood bridged the two sides together. She didn’t really understand why someone would bother to cut out a plank of wood just to use as a bridge, but whoever it was apparently never bothered to build a better bridge, let alone replace the obviously worn plank. She wasn’t sure if it could support even her meager fourteen and a half pound frame. She took a quick peek down the chasm before reeling away, preferring not to dwell on the image. Dexter suggested that she teleport the team across, which seemed like a fabulous idea in comparison to the alternative. “Yeah, yeah...” Rebecca snapped back, at least happy that she wasn’t the only one who knew it was a good idea to keep Teleport, “It’s just a small gap. You might want to watch your footing once we’re across, though. I’m still not used to doing this with extra passengers.” She held on to the rest of the team and took a deep breath, counting to three and exhaling for the same amount of time as she focused on the other side of the chasm. Once she hit zero, she teleported the team across to the other side, with several feet of distance between them and the edge of the cliff. “There we go!” The Ralts exclaimed, twirling happily and quickly shooting her fist up into the air, “Everyone’s ok, right?”
