What if your desert-based God could do the opposite and instead sucked nutrients from the landscape?

The desert has life as well.

The desert is less about nutrients, and more about hardy creatures.

It'd be more about Survival, Adaptation, Determination, and heat.

I'd personally try to base it off of something from Egypt. Ra is pretty much Iup, the god of the sun. And Anubis is the Guardian of the harvest and the dead.

However, there are a few other elements that you can borrow from them.
