[@Tangletail] A desert God could literally incorporate anything inspired form... a desert. There are no "right" or "wrong" themes. 

I like the idea of drawing Egyptian influence, majorly because it's unique from drawing influence from the same-ol' Greek and Roman. Though the Ancient Egyptians didn't have it too rough out there. They were right by the Nile.
