Most people probably would have taken offense to that, but to Logan it meant nothing. He knew he was invisible to most people and majority of the time, he liked it that way. It meant his quiet world stayed quiet. So he made no remark back to Jason’s statement.

Logan really tried to resist, but he couldn’t help the little chuckle that escaped his lips after Jason make that remark. For a brief moment, Logan actually pitied this kid and felt bad for him. Was he really that stupid? Or was his common sense just lacking? Logan hoped for the boy’s sake it was the latter. It can’t be easy going through life that dumb. Knowledge is one thing, “street smarts” or common sense is different. Logan likes to believe he has a good balance between the both, but he isn’t quite sure about Jason.

“Do you really think Moody is looking for a bat-bogey hex?”

Even Logan, the least likely to ever participate in class, knows enough about Moody to know he is looking for some dark stuff to happen- like almost on par with Unforgivables. As much as Logan wanted Jason to accept his offer of getting this over and done with, Logan had a hunch if he didn’t give into the boy’s demands of really trying, he would never get his peace and quiet back.

“Fine. If we are going to really do this, we are going all out. None of the pussy 1st year spells. I am talking like expluso and stupefy. If I am going to do this, I am doing it right.”

He hated that he was about to put more effort into a project than he ever has, but at least he gets to look at something pretty while he was. Even now, Logan making eye contact for the first time with Jason, couldn’t deny his handsome features. He suddenly was curious how soft the boy’s hair was, because it definitely looked soft. That thought quickly disappeared from his mind when he thought remembered how loud Jason was.
