I simply stand there, accepting death, awaiting my end. Then.

I say this. My pupils seem to expand over my entire eyes, turning them black. I blink, purple iris' there when I open them. Mephiles' eyes let me see through the illusion. The darkness is dispelled, along with the feelings that come with it.
