Everyone that knows me knows that I [i]hate[/i] country music. It's just something about this one song, though. It's so damn catchy, especially the remix with Nelly! My 7th grade history teacher would play this song almost everyday and it just got stuck in my head.

This is where the Boondocks theme song came from...the original song. My dad and I used to watch the show every night, despite my mother's protests. She thought that I was too young to watch it (I was nine) and she was right, but that didn't mean we listened to her. My dad moved to Texas a year later and I never really hear from him. I miss those days. This song holds a lot of meaning to me., and hearing it just brings back so many good, old memories.

Okay, sure, it was pretty dope at first. Once I started hearing it every second on every damn radio station, it started to pluck my nerves. Now I hear it [i]everywhere.[/i] I see it on those hazardous Musical.ly videos, Instagram videos, Snapchat, school dances, etc. It is so overplayed. The only time I can tolerate it is when it's a hip-hop dance video, and that's only because of the beat.

Still not 100% why I have this song as my ringtone... not planning on changing it any time soon, though. I love Outkast. :lol

I've never really been a big fan of Kehlani, although I do love her voice. I first heard this song when I was trolling around for the Suicide Squad soundtrack, and found it along with 2 other songs. I was super excited for the movie, to say the least. The whole Harley Quinn/Joker chemical vat scene had me in the feels, along with this song....lord![/center]
