Abbie was a quick learner, his knee made contact with her body, but that didn't stop her from attempting a counter. He was barely able to dodge the attack to his knee, able to spin away, landing on both feet. There was distance, she was very smart. Close combat was his specialty, so trying to take him on wasn't a great idea. The comment about Nightwing's speed made him a smirk a bit. "He's not as fast as the guy from Central City." Robin called out. Nightwing simply shrugged. "You can't win them all. But speed is a major influence in a battle. When Batman trained, he trained from an ancient group of assassins. Speed, fear, and strategy were its main focus. Before you fight anyone you have to know their strengths... And what their weaknesses are. Like you've done, you've kept your distance... But we have gadgets to counter long distance fighting until we can get close. It's a massage game of strategy, and thinking. You'll have to learn to make these decisions and act on every opportunity in a fraction of a second." With a nod towards Robin, he walked over to a button and pressed it, activating five practice dummies from the ground. Their metallic arms held knives, bats, and other sharp and lethal tools, and all ranged from shape and size. "These are what we trained with. And what you will train with too... So I really hope you're serious about all of this, because this won't be a walk in the park."
