Logan chuckled to himself as Jason went on and on about Quidditch. Logan never understood the fascination with sports, but Jason seemed fully passionate about it. Even if Logan thought being a jock meant being a meathead, it may actually not always be the case. The way Adam spoke about it, for a brief moment, Logan was actually curious. However not curious enough to torture himself with the screams of the crowd. Once they reached the pitch, Logan dropped his bag onto the grass and looked around. It was definitely bigger than he remembered. He sort of remembers the basic rules of the game, like how the Quaffle has to go through the hoops on both ends of the pitch, but for the more intricate details of the game, Logan wouldn’t know his right from his left. When Jason basically bashed the Slytherin team, Logan didn’t mind. He wasn’t exactly the typical student with house pride. I mean, he could care less if they won a Quidditch match or the House cup at the end of term. Honestly, he didn’t see the point of being sorted into houses. It just fueled the competitive nature of the educational system. Logan tried to start talking about the project, but Jason seemed too unfocused. He briefly mentioned what spells they could do, but his attention span seemed to be less than a toddler. Smirking to himself, Logan discreetly pulled his wand from his robe. Before Jason even knew what was happening, Logan raised his wand and said “Silencio!” Instantly, there was silence on the pitch as Jason’s voice had now been taken away from him. Logan looked at him, the smirk on his face. “Do you mind if I speak now?” Then raising his wand again, he ended the spell so Jason’s voice was back. “I think the best and most important spell we need to do is Stupefy. Have you been able to successfully perform it?”
