UG gathers what little FIREWOOD he can find in the area. He finds TWO USABLE PIECES. There is NONE LEFT in the AREA for now. If only he had some sort of NIFTY TOOL to help him, or some sort of MAGICAL PLACE filled with TREES. If only such things EXISTED.

WOMAN's name is WOMAN, but she takes the title LIGHTBEARER. She decides to make a MIGHTIER TORCH. 

WOMAN LIGHTBEARER searches in the darkness and finds an APPLE TREE, which she promptly lights on FIRE.

This makes her 	EXTREMELY HAPPY. 
The HOWLING in the WEST grows LOUDER.
