The group are fighting against Philippa le' Terre, one of the Seekers of Darkness, who has power over the concept of 'Borders'. Philippa brought in Nate and Nora from Fallout 4, which is a bad thing because Nora is also a Princess of Heart, Nate is her husband, and they're kept loyal to the Seekers of Darkness because their son, Shaun, is held hostage. Nate has been knocked unconscious by Seth, but Philippa and Nora are still around.
