Spelunking old tombs and catacombs from a young age, Javier was raised and taught by his supernatural treasure-hunter parents to follow in their footsteps. Always an adventurer and a fighter, Javier learned to adore the supernatural, feeling drawn to every aspect of it, resulting in the Aztec curse which has kept him alive so long. That love however did also lead him to meet the woman who would become his wife, infatuated with her since the moment they left for how different to anyone else he'd met she was, the two married and settled down before long.

Putting his adventures on the backburner, Javier enjoys a relaxed and comfortable life in a house filled with his treasures and souvenirs, enjoying married life and helping to raise his children. From time to time, Javier would go on a trip to some ancient ruin and bring back a new 'gift' for his wife or to put on the mantlepiece, simply enjoying his 'retirement' of sorts and living out the rest of his immortal days until the end of all days.

Having spent next to no time throughout his life having settled down somewhere, Javier left the decision of where to settle to his wife. Since then he's settled there with her, avoiding most of the general townsfolk and their normality while enjoying the company of his family, and occasionally challenging the neighbor to a duel when his kid's ball goes over the fence.
