There's three stages.

Foreshadowing, setup, and then the event/appearance.

It's called proper buildup. Don't tell me in a game you find it enjoyable when you get hit during a cutscene, because that's about what you did.

It takes a lot of effort and intricate setup to do what you did, but for now in general... Do not auto-hit. There are people who would react way more badly to it than I am.
